Learn More about 41 Truss Design and Construction

41 Truss is located two miles north of State Route 52 on both the east and west side of U.S. Highway 41 in Pasco County, Florida, approximately 25 miles north of downtown Tampa.  Collectively, 41 Truss has over 1900 front feet and 27 acres on U.S Hwy 41.

We are centrally located to our market and have easy highway access allowing us to competitively ship within a 75-100 mile radius in all directions.

WEST PLANT

The West Truss Plant includes the office building and the original operation on 6 acres where more than 35,000 roof and floor truss systems have been designed and built since 1983 for Tampa Bay area builders.  Many of these homes and projects are recognizable landmarks in the Tampa Bay area building community.

This operation had extensive capital improvements in 2006 with the purchase of new material handling equipment, new rack systems to improve work in process and raw material inventory management, mechanical and electrical saw upgrades, additional trucks and roll off trailers, and new truss plate rollers, all designed to improve efficiency in the operation and the quality of the wood trusses we build and deliver.

EAST PLANT

The East Truss Plant was built and opened in mid-2005 and includes the most modern equipment available for building wood roof truss systems, and wood floor truss systems, including high speed cutting equipment, laser guided set-up systems, steel truss assembly tables, and steel pin jigging systems.  The East Truss Plant utilizes approximately six acres of the 21 acres owned and available on this site, allowing sufficient room for the expansion of our truss design and truss manufacturing capabilities, as well as strategic growth opportunities.

Expansion plans are already in the design stage and are anticipated in 2008.

In 2006, our 6000 sq. ft. office and wood truss design center was updated in order to improve our internal communications, increase our office efficiency, and promote an environment of responsibility, authority, and accountability in all of our individual departments and for all of the members of our employee family.

In 2007, we added three additional buildings on site, each for a specific purpose, in order to expand our preventative maintenance program, upgrade our production management work environment, improve our document management process, and manage our historical data more effectively.

Our two wood truss manufacturing operations, the office, and the design center are all connected via a wireless system with the appropriate level of off-site daily back up.  A disaster recovery plan is also in place which includes an emergency communication program and business interruption contingency.
